A near death experience…
Any of Jackie Chan’s stunts over the years could be called that. But the stunt that nearly killed him was – from Jackie’s perspective – a rather easy one.
It happened when Jackie was filming Armour of God in Yugoslavia, and was taking a jump from a castle wall to a tree. Not something anyone of us would do – but something Jackie Chan could almost do in his sleep. But something went wrong and he missed the tree branch and fell right to the ground and hit his head. A piece of his skull cracked and shot up in his brain, and he was taken to hospital for immediate brain surgery. He still has a plastic plate in his head to remind him of the stunt that could have become the death of Jackie Chan…
