I just love watching the fight scenes in Who Am I! It’s pure entertainment (and the movie is great too). The end scene is awesome – Jackie is facing two guys (possibly his worst opponents since Ken Lo in Drunken Master II) and needs to procure all his skills to defeat them. It’s dangerous, vertiginous and made with a great sense of humour – and ends with one of Jackie’s most daring stunts ever. A simple WOW just won’t do it!
What is so special with the fighting scenes Jackie provides is that they are so carefully coordinated. It’s actually the same as watching a great piece of art, or listening to a Mozart symphony – the rhythm and the melody just makes you want more and more. Thankfully there are a whole bunch of Jackie fights worth watching, so there is no lack of material!
